Isobel provides a warm, safe and affirming space for all identities and values an individualised and collaborative approach to therapy and assessments. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed and inclusive of all identities and body sizes.
Isobel is an AuDHD psychologist experienced in the treatment of all types of eating disorders, trauma and complex trauma, anxiety and depression, and particularly enjoys working with Autistic and ADHD individuals. βShe enjoys supporting clients to make meaningful changes in their lives by facilitating a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs, their difficulties and areas of strength, and discovering what works with their brain, rather than against it.ββ β
Her approach to eating disorder treatments is strongly influenced by the Health At Every Size movement. She is passionate about dismantling diet-culture biases with her clients that are prevalent in our society, and promoting a holistic view of health enhancement that is not focused on weight-loss.
Isobel is an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and has training in evidence-based therapies including Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
She has additionally completed training focused on the identification of Autism and ADHD in adults (including internalised presentations), and regularly engages in training and supervision facilitated by other neurodivergent clinicians.
Outside of work, Isobel enjoys spending time with her dog, Toby, reading and buying books, and listening to Taylor Swift.
